This will be my first December living in Arlington, VA. For my Holiday bucket list, I incorporated some activities in the city and some at home, where I truly love to be. Here it goes:
“ZooLights” at the National Zoo in DC.
Go see the National Christmas Tree at night.
Bake cookies from scratch.
“Season's Greenings” at the Botanic Gardens in DC.
Watch Christmas movies with family.
“ICE 2018” at the Gaylord National Resort in DC.
Watch the new “Grinch” movie.
Bring someone cookies.
Sing Christmas songs… loudly.
Drive through a (rich) neighborhood to look at the lights.
Read the book “A Christmas Story”.
Drink hot chocolate.
Read the accounts of Jesus’ birth in the bible.
Learn how to make a Christmas drink.
Drink apple cider.
*Make one of these a date.
Confession: this list is a tease for some of the BLOGmas posts I have planned. You're going to have to check back to see if I get everything done on this list. The pressure is on. BLOGmas 2018 is #myfirstBLOGmas and I plan on killing it, but we'll see.
For those who don’t know, BLOGmas is when bloggers post every day until Christmas, starting December 1st. I'm sure it also says somewhere, in these unwritten rules, that the posts must be Christmas related. The countdown to Christmas has begun. 22 more days until Christmas.
